Sixth Form students at South Dartmoor Community College and Atrium will be learning some unique new skills when they start their studies this year. A purpose built coffee bar has been set up in the college, where students can train to be qualified baristas - serving students and staff as part of their volunteering commitments.
Former students Nat Salt and Mark Thomas have been awarded scholarships to attend the London Institute of Banking and Finance to study degree courses, following their outstanding achievements last year.

We have been able to award 10 outstanding students with brand new Google Pixel 3 phones. This is in recognition of their dedication to their studies and all round outstanding achievements, during what has been an exceptionally turbulent year. It is hoped that these awards will keep the students connected with their learning, no matter what the coming years hold.

Year 11 Countryside and Environment students have been putting into action their plan for the management of the school playing field area.
Students at South Dartmoor Community College are delighted with the ten new picnic benches bought for the school by the Friends of South Dartmoor Association (FOSDA).
GCSE/A Level certificates are now ready for collection from main reception at the Atrium between the hours of 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
