Making an informed choice - Applying to the Sixth Form

All Year 11 students are undertaking the most important decision/choice in their education: what should I do at Sixth Form/FE/post 16. The pathway students choose now, and the institution they select, will significantly affect their opportunities and career in the future. A Level and Level 3 subject choice and their final grades will ultimately determine career pathways, be that university choices, or higher and degree apprenticeships. Therefore, it is crucial that they make an informed choice, considering all the factors that will support or limit their progress over the next two or three years.

To support the decision-making process we are proud to announce the launch our Sixth Form

Prospectus 2024.

This year we will be utilising a digital format, alongside physical printed versions of the specific subject information that were made available at our open evening. This has allowed us to embed easy links to additional information and resources within the pages of the prospectus to inform you further. Dive into the electronic prospectus to access the various departments, talking about their subjects and what it means to look at the world through the lens of that particular specialism.

We hope that this supports your decision-making process, however if you require additional information, a printed copy of the prospectus or would like to talk through your application to any of our courses and our Sixth Form please contact Mrs Abi Slater, Director of Sixth Form, via email to Abi Slater

Applications open January 2024
