Let's Dance

As part of Body Language Week, this year’s Let’s Dance shows were a truly wonderful celebration of creativity, confidence and community.

The evening brought together students from our local schools and community project groups, alongside our international school partner, Nayamba School in Zambia. Each piece was created using inspirational quotes and beautifully reflected themes of resilience, kindness, ambition and hope, with the young dancers bringing their chosen words to life through movement, music and imagination.
The standard of performance was fantastic, and it was clear how much hard work, enthusiasm and dedication had gone into each routine. The children were an absolute credit to their schools and groups; their energy, confidence and joy on stage made the evening incredibly special and a real pleasure to watch.

We are absolutely thrilled that ticket and raffle sales across both Let's Dance and
Primary Body Language shows raised an incredible £2,508.46. Every penny will go directly to support the food programme at Nayamba School, providing over five months of meals for every student — a vital support for their health, wellbeing and learning. It is deeply moving to think that the joy, talent and hard work shown by our young dancers will make such a meaningful difference to children on the other side of the world.
Later this year, a recording of the show will be shared with the students at Nayamba School, creating a wonderful connection between two communities united through dance.
A huge thank you to all the teachers, organisers, volunteers and the technical team who worked behind the scenes to make the event such a success. Most importantly, congratulations to all the amazing young performers who made Let’s Dance 2026 such a memorable and inspiring evening.
