This year, 50% of students achieved grades A*-B, demonstrating both breadth and depth of talent across our cohort. Notably, a quarter of all students attained the highest accolades of A* or A. These outstanding results underscore the dedication of our students, the expertise of our teaching staff and the unwavering support of families and our wider community.

The vast majority of our students have secured the grades needed to progress to their first-choice destinations, whether they are embarking on university studies, degree apprenticeships, or moving directly into employment or further training. Noteworthy successes include Ruby, who has secured a highly sought after degree apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering with Airbus via UWE; Authur, who is going to study Biochemistry at Bristol; Erin, who has secured her training placement through being an Emergency Medical Dispatch with South West Ambulance Service and Poppy, who is going on to study Architecture at Oxford Brooks. Not to mention of course the students who achieved all As and A*s in all of their subjects, with many exceeding targets, such as Ethan who achieved an A* in Maths, an A* in Further Maths and an A in Physics. These individual journeys and achievements are the heart of what makes results day a truly celebratory occasion.

Our subject results are equally impressive: Maths, Fine Art and History, all achieved 80% A*-B, in Finance, 90% of students outperformed their targets, 91% achieving A*-B and in the Extended Project Qualification 90% achieved an A*-B.

Executive Headteacher Jen Veal commented:

"We are incredibly proud of what our students have accomplished this year. Education is about expanding horizons and providing new opportunities, and these results are a testament to the talent, resilience and ambition of our students. They are now going on to pursue a variety of subjects at esteemed universities and providers—ranging from the sciences and social sciences, to the arts and humanities. Beyond their impressive grades, our students have made invaluable contributions to our school community and we look forward to seeing all that they achieve in the future. We hope they will remain part of our extended South Dartmoor family as they continue their journeys."
