Today, we had an unannounced visit from Skye, our local police dog. Skye is a highly skilled member of the police force, trained in the detection of illegal substances. Her handler spent the morning showcasing their work, and Skye visited several classes to demonstrate her abilities as a working police dog.

Other than a planted substance on a staff member for training purposes, Skye was unable to detect any substances on our students. We are delighted that our students continue to make safe and responsible choices.
