They joined dozens of other schools from around the country to listen to the UKs top scientists show us their cutting edge research and thoughts on some of the top scientific topics of our time: Can we create a star on Earth to produce limitless clean power? Can we understand the nature of genes and howthey affect our development? Is time travel possible? . among other interesting topics. Pyromania Showcase Year 10 was treated to a visitor from Plymouth University and his pyromania showcase. All sorts of flammable and explosive chemical reactions were demonstrated for the students who were left, to varying degrees, dazzled, awed and, above all else, grateful that they left the hall with both eyebrows largely intact!TruthRespectEqualityExcellence southdartmoor.devon.sch.uk 13'
