  • Speakers from local colleges and apprenticeship providers.
  • Age appropriate careers activities 
  • Attend assemblies on various career choices/apprenticeships.

Year 8

 

  •  Careers impact Day: 

  • Talks from people representing various professions
  • Speakers from local colleges and apprenticeship providers.
  • Age appropriate careers activities 
  • One day of work experience within the school helping in different departments 
  • Attend assemblies on various career choices/apprenticeships.
  • Attend Career's fair in preparation for Year 8 option choices.
  • Invited to attend an Option choice evening where they can speak to teachers about specific subjects.

Year 9

  • Work Experience/shadowing
  • Futures Day (Apprenticeship/University information/Career support)
  • All students are given the opportunity to attend University/Apprenticeship events.

Year 13

  • Attend assemblies on various career choices/Apprenticeships/University
  • Tutor time support with applications (University/Apprenticeships/Jobs)
