U14 Girls Hockey Area Tournament
Well done to the Girls U14 Hockey squad who finished as runners up playing in the South Area tournament earlier this week. In their matches they beat Churston 1-0 (scorer Emily J) and Stover 2-0 (scorer Darcy H – 2), drew with Kingsbridge and Stoodley Knowle, and lost 1-0 to TGGS. Goalkeeper Kate W had an excellent tournament and South Dartmoor’s Player of the Tournament was TP Turner.
England U17 Football
Well done to ex Year 11 student Liam H who recently was selected to represent England U17s in a qualifying round of the UEFA European Championships in Spain. Liam scored his first England goal in the 7-0 win against Estonia.
