A standing ovation bought this years production of Oliver to a close. Over 1000 people were fortunate enough to see the heartfelt performances of our talented students who all worked extremely hard and formed a caring, cohesive company. Thank you to each one of them, their parents, friends and staff for supporting the show....

On Thursday 15th November fourteen students (five each from years ten and eleven, and four from year twelve) accompanied by two members of staff, Mrs Barker and Mr Sutton, left Ashburton at 7:00 for the Dreaming Spires of Oxford....

South Dartmoor Community College is now the proud recipient of 80 Acer PCs - used during the London 2012 Olympics - as part of the on-going Olympic legacy. The machines were provided to schools and charities across the UK, at a much reduced cost, following the end of the events....

This is a new and exciting opportunity that was given to South Dartmoor Community College at the beginning of the Autumn Term 2012. The farm behind South Dartmoor Community College, owned by Laura and Ian Manley, has very kindly allowed the school to take over the running of a flock of 16 chickens....

During a week of exploring seasonal foods and making  links with our rural culture, the 6th form chefs learned how to make bread wheat sheaves traditionally displayed at Harvest Festivals across the country. This followed a jam and pickling session earlier in the week....

On Saturday 22nd of September students from years 7-11 enjoyed this years first Dartmoor Club walk.  We set off from 4 Winds carpark (near Princetown) where all students climbed Great Miss Tor.  We then split into 3 groups. The younger students then headed south visiting foggintor quary for lunch before heading back to the mini busses....

In half-term October 2013 a group of students - who are in Years 11, 12 and 13 - will be visiting Imprezza Academy in Western Kenya led by Mr Shaikh....
