Live Sessions was run by students giving them a platform on which to showcase their own personal musical taste and compositions. The students courage in hosting the evening and the authenticity in their performance was quite apparent and provided another thoroughly entertaining evening for our supportive audience....

The lads were an absolute credit in the way they played and conducted themselves against the very best public schools in the whole region. After losing the first match to Canford School, they picked themselves up to put in a great team performance to defeat Exeter School 2 – 0 (Goals from Jamie B & George K)....

In a twelve team competition, South Dartmoor showed the depth of their hockey talent, being one of only two schools to enter both A and B teams into the Devon Under 13 Mini Hockey (7-a-side) Tournament on Tuesday....

Year 10 recently performed scenes from Shakespeares’ Romeo and Juliet, and Taming of the Shrew to an intimate gathering of friends and family as part of their GCSE coursework. This was the first time for many students to perform on a stage in front of an audience....

23 students from South Dartmoor Community College passed their England Hockey Foundation Umpires Award this week! They undertook the course involving theory and practical elements, and then passed a written test.

During the production of Oliver we held a collection for the Royal Devon & Exeter Paediatric Oncology Ward on behalf of student Vicki G who has been undergoing treatment there. At the end of last term we sent them a cheque for £479.09, via Vicki, which had been collected from audience donations over the 4 nights....
