Mrs B Killingbeck 

Available in the Careers Office (opposite the library) - Monday to Thursday

Role includes:

  • Offering support with Sixth Form/ College/ Apprenticeship applications/ CV’s and Personal Statements
  • Giving information about different Careers and Courses
  • Supporting students to access work experience/ shadowing
  • Organising mock interviews  (university and Employment)

 

Mrs J Ellis – Independent Careers Advisor

Mrs Ellis is our independent careers advisor.  She is a fully qualified careers adviser with over 20 years’ experience of providing careers guidance to young people in schools. She provides independent, impartial advice on the full range of educational and employment choices. She is available for students and parents/ carers to talk to at the following school events:

  • Yr 8 parents evenings
  • Yr 11 parents evenings
  • Yr 8 Options Evenings
  • Sixth Form Open evening
  • Careers Fair

Mrs Ellis also offers support/guidance to individual students (through referral via Mrs Killingbeck) and runs groups sessions for different year groups

 

Careers South West – Sarah Sutton

Sarah is an independent careers advisor who works for Careers South West.  She is a fully qualified careers adviser and has experience of providing careers guidance to young people in schools. She provides independent, impartial advice on the full range of educational and employment choices.   Her focus is on students with SEN statements.
