The Connection began as a printed newspaper produced three times per year and given to the students to take home. Advances in website technology and increased internet access at home (90% of our families) mean that an online version is not only cheaper to produce but more immediate. Updates are made almost as soon as the story breaks so keep checking back!

100% Pass in Motor Vehicle exams

Congratulations, and a resounding well done to Year 11 Motor Vehicle students on a superb 100% performance in their Motor Vehicle exams!  Led by teachers Graham Endacott and Jeff Smith, of the 18 students entered, 15 gained the top Level 3.

This years Certificate Motor Vehicle achievements are a direct result of the students maximising the opportunities on offer at South Dartmoor.  This also includes making use of the college’s enrichment curriculum, as a number of students attended the extension sessions offered from October to March.

Overall, the students demonstrated a high level of motivation and commitment, with a number returning to Motor Vehicle in the 6th Form next year.
