Attendance booklet

The Sixth Form Attendance Booklet spells out the importance of Vital Attendance Procedures for all Sixth Form Students

We want to be able to say to employers and universities, hand on heart, that all students’ attendance records are excellent.

By following the procedures in the booklet students will ensure that concerns regarding attendance are minimised, enabling staff to provide positive and competitive references for students and, where appropriate, EMA payments.

Research shows that good attendance plays a crucial part in student success and this combined with good performance will ensure that students can be entered for their examinations. We expect a minimum attendance of 93% in each subject to be maintained. It is vital that students, parents and staff work together to achieve at least this minimum target.
